Doctor visits

Get the care you need from a doctor you choose within our plan. There are no copays for primary care provider (PCP) visits, specialists, behavioral health care, urgent care services and labs.

Vision care

We want you to see clearly. Vision benefits include an annual eye exam and glasses (every year for kids; every two years for adults) for eligible members. Coverage is subject to your benefits plan.

Prescriptions

We pay for prescriptions and many over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Some members have a $3 copay for brand-name drugs. Many members (including children and pregnant women) don’t have any copays for their medicines. Coverage is subject to your benefits plan.

Extra benefits

Healthy Blue offers extra benefits just for our members, like free Weight Watchers® and Boy and Girl Scout memberships, school supplies for members entering college, and breast pumps and baby showers for pregnant members.

Transportation Vendor Change

Healthy Blue’s NEMT (non-emergency transportation) vendor has changed from IntelliRide to Modivcare, as of 1/1/2023. This does not impact your benefits, but some contact information to book a ride will change.

Free interpreter and translation services available

If you do not speak English and need help during your doctor visit or when you call us, you can get help in your language. We provide materials in other languages and formats, including Braille, large print and audio at no cost to you. Call Member Services at 833-388-1405 (TTY 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time and we’ll get you the help you need.
