Welcome to Sydney Health
Welcome to Sydney Health. We’re happy you’re here.
As a new member, we want you to get the most out of your benefits. Here are some tips to help you get started with your new health plan.

Look for your member ID card
You should have received your Healthy Blue member ID card in the mail. You will use it when you go to the doctor, fill prescriptions and in the event of an emergency. If it has been more than two weeks since you enrolled and you did not get your card, call 833-388-1405 (TTY 711) Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.
Create your online account
To access the secure member area of our website, you will need to create your account. This will allow you to:
- View or print your member ID card.
- Change your primary care provider (PCP).
- Take your Health Risk Screener (HRS).
- View your contact information.
- Manage your prescriptions.
- Chat with a live person or send us a secure message.
It is quick and easy to create your account! You just need your member ID number (shown on your ID card), your date of birth and your ZIP code.

Make an appointment with your PCP
Your main doctor is called a primary care provider, or PCP. Your PCP is listed on your ID card and in your online account. Call to make an appointment with your PCP as soon as you can. All new Healthy Blue members should see their PCP within 90 days of joining. Getting a checkup now will help your PCP learn about your medical history before any health issues occur.
Need help making your appointment?
We are here for you! Call Member Services at 833-388-1405 (TTY 711).
Need to change your PCP?
Once you register your account, you can change your PCP online or by calling Member Services at 833-388-1405 (TTY 711).
Have a smartphone? Download our free app!
With Healthy Blue Medicaid, the Sydney Health mobile app, you will always have your member ID card with you! You can also:
- Find a doctor, hospital, or pharmacy close by and get directions.
- Call a nurse to get answers to your medical questions anytime, day or night.
- Manage your prescriptions.
Learn about your benefits
We want you to understand your benefits and receive the best possible care. Learn what you get with Healthy Blue on your plan benefits page, including many extras just for being a member! You can also read your member handbook for details about your benefits.
View your benefitsNote: You need to renew your benefits each year. You will get a notice in the mail when it is time to renew. If you move, make sure you give the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) your new address.

Complete your Health Risk Screener (HRS)
As a new member, you will fill out a Health Risk Screener (HRS). It is a short questionnaire that will help us connect you to care and doctors that fit your needs. You may be eligible for extra programs and services based on what you tell us. If you have questions, call us at 833-388-1405 (TTY 711).
